Don't mean to.
I don’t mean to sound bitter, but maybe I am. I’m bitter that I’m single. I’m bitter that I’m a nice guy and always seem to finish last. That the girl I think is gorgeous, thinks I’m a freak because I become speechless and nervous in front of her. I’m bitter that guys that don’t care one way or another end up taking those girls home because they can....
Help me! →
Okay, my title was probably a bit dramatic, but I’m in the process of making a new CD, and as you may or may not know, CDs cost money. That’s why I’m turning to my friends and family for support and even though money is tight these days, every little bit helps! Check out the link for more info!

Finally. Silence.
Finally. Silence.
That overcame the noise.
It didn’t have a choice, but to be still.
We listen close but often don’t hear
like factories, the machines are our ears,
churning out chaos and confusion
all the while presuming
that we were meant for more than here.
Finally. Silence.
It echoes, deafening and leaves us with
awkward and uncomfortable instances
we’re not used...

A song
I want to write a song. I feel like there are thousands of them inside of me, but the hard part is organizing them. I’ll start on that tomorrow.

New Years Eve
I really enjoy New Years Eve. Not because I go out to a bunch of parties and stuff like that, but because of MY tradition. Every new years eve I grab my notebook and journal. Reflect on the previous year, and what I expect out of the coming year! I always write down 25 things I want to do in the next year. Here are a few that I accomplished this year:
8. Go Fishing
17. Write a song for...

Beat It
I’m learning Michael Jackson’s “Beat it” on the acoustic guitar, simply because that riff is one of the best ever. Maybe I’ll record it, and maybe I’ll put it up here. You never know.

I love finding new music...
I love finding new music because it’s like bumping into a friend you haven’t seen in years. At least that’s what it’s like to me. It’s like something new has been revealed, and I say to myself, “That’s what’s been missing.” Granted, not ALL new music does this, but the really good stuff does. AND if the band/artist has like 5 previous CDs??...
well...
well, that was a bust. Back to the drawing board.
Cheating.
Okay, so the girl that I’m interested in has a blog. and I read it. I sort of feel like I’m cheating because I get glimpses into her life without ever really talking to her about those situations. It’s strange. Don’t get me wrong, we’re friends and we talk fairly frequently, but I can’t just say, “Oh hey, I read your blog last night! What was that...
I don't BLOG...but
I don’t ever really blog. I probably should more often, but it just takes so. much. time. and honestly? I don’t have time for it. Also, I think to myself ” why would anyone care about what I have to say?” so I just don’t do it.
But lately I have something to blog about. Girls.
I don’t understand them at all. Please, someone try to explain to me how every girl...

Taste The Rainbow
For some reason I’ve always loved Skittles. I wouldn’t say they’re my favorite candy ever, but I’ll never turn them down when they’re offered to me. Hence the 2 lb bag I got for my birthday. I’m now eating skittles and writing a paper. Yum.
Too. Much.
Lebron. Who won the title last year again?

10 Days
10 Days til I turn 26. Just thought you all should know. A Birthday Wish-List will be coming shortly.
So there's this girl...
I swore to myself I wouldn’t find a girl in grad school. I said, “self, you’re paying thousands of dollars to get your teaching credential, NOT to meet someone. So get in, study hard, and get out.” Alas, my very first class I met someone, wouldn’t you know. She’s smart, and funny and kind. Oh well…
I guess it’s not really that big of a deal.
Yeah,...

Selling my 1,000th tweet on ebay! →
I decided to sell my 1,000th tweet on ebay! Why would someone want to purchase my 1,000th tweet? for advertising purposes. Whoever wins the auction, I will tweet ANYTHING they want.
Too Early.
It’s too early. I don’t like waking up before the sun.

Big Day Tomorrow
So I say goodnight!
New Music Mondays
I’ve decided that I write way too much music and it needs to be heard somewhere, so I will be posting a *new* song every Monday! They will most likely be acoustic recordings, but I guess you’ll have to swing by to find out! (Yesterday’s was the first one.)
Playing a show
It’s actually a fairly large show on May 28th. Spirit West Coast: Del Mar. I’m really excited! It’s the Indie Artist Showcase and it’s more of a competition than a show, and the winner gets to go to Nashville and compete for a record deal. That’s the ultimate goal, isn’t it? A “record deal”? It would be nice, but for me it’s more about the...
Late at Night
This is when I get in a “Funk”. My life isn’t what I thought it would be. I’m on the eve (almost) of turning 26 years old. Without a full-time job. Without a wife, girlfriend, prospect. I still live at home. When I first graduated it was, “I’ll live at home for a year just to get on my feet, and then I’m out.” and 4 years later I’m still not on...
Things I want, but in no way need.
In no particular order:
1. A Nintendo Wii
2. A DSLR camera
3. A bicycle.
4. New jeans.
5. A new guitar.
